Description

In this review post, we’re going to be discussing the BEHRINGER Guitar Pedal, Orange (UT300), including an overview of its unique features.

Product Description

When you’ve got to have the classic tremolo made famous by vintage ’50s amps, get the ULTRA TREMOLO UT300. Featuring dedicated Rate, Wave and Depth controls for awesome sound shaping, you’re sure to find your tone within this little box of joy – the amazing UT300!

The classic surf music of the ‘50s and ‘60s might not have even happened – if tremolo hadn’t come along! Vintage amps produced this intriguing effect by pulsing the volume of the instrument signal at a user-adjustable rate. The UT300 pays homage to this legendary sound, bringing it up to date for modern surf freaks and their wahinis.

With its dedicated Rate, Wave, and Depth dials, you can shape a pulsating tremolo that nails every sound from rowdy rockabilly and surging surf – to modern space rock. A bright-as-the-sun LED tells you when the tide is coming in, and you can power this groovy little stompbox with either our PSU-SB DC power supply (not included) or a 9 V battery. A top-quality On/Off switch maintains excellent signal integrity in bypass mode.

Ride the wave of classic tremolo aboard the ULTRA TREMOLO UT300. And the best part – you’ll still have money for board wax and gas to get you to the beach! Check the amazing UT300 at your local Behringer dealer, or grab one online today!

Behringer UT300 Ultra Tremolo Pedal Demo

Our Verdict

Behringer is well-known for manufacturing high-quality guitar effects pedals at reasonable costs, and the UT300 Tremolo is no exception.

This pedal channels the timeless tone of old 60s and 70s amp tremolos, with a warm, classic sound. The sound is surprisingly diverse and simple to control, thanks to the three huge, easily accessible control knobs at the top of the pedal.

The UT300 has a mixed review in terms of build quality. While it’s light and easy to pack in a gig bag, it’s constructed of plastic and won’t be able to withstand the same level of on-stage abuse as higher quality, more expensive metal stompboxes.
