Description

In this review post we’re going to be discussing the BOSS OC-3 pedal, including an overview of its unique features.

Product Description

With a single stomp, guitarists can achieve high-quality octave effects with the BOSS OC-3 Super Octave. A new Polyphonic Octave mode, a Drive mode with distortion, and the old OC-2 mode are all available. Separate inputs for guitar and bass round out the OC-3’s versatility. The Boss OC-3 is housed in the normal Boss container, but with a dark copper finish. This setup’s quality and longevity have been demonstrated multiple times, so you won’t have to worry about it breaking down on you. Controls are situated on the top, directly over the footswitch, as is customary. This pedal has inputs for both a guitar and a bass guitar, which makes it even more useful. You have a Mono output as well as a Direct Output line when it comes to outputs. The OC-3 can be used for both guitar and bass. When a bass guitar is connected to the dedicated Bass input, the OC-3 automatically adjusts to fit the bass guitar’s range. Bassists can now upgrade to the OC-3’s ultra-stable octave sounds. The OC-3 continues where the OC-2 left off, providing guitarists with two brand-new octave effects. When playing chords, octaves can now be added using the Polyphonic Octave mode, a first in a tiny pedal. The new Drive setting adds a hint of distortion to the octave tones, resulting in more aggressive sounds.

Product Features

  • The first tiny pedal with real Polyphonic Octave effects on the market.
  • For a richer, more aggressive tone, the new Drive mode adds distortion to the octave notes.

  • Bass input for bass guitars that need an octave sound
  • Limited guarantee of five years from BOSS
