Our Verdict
Nano POG is a simple yet powerful octave that strikes a balance on all fronts: range vs. ease of use, fidelity vs. funkiness, and price vs. performance. It’s intriguing enough to pique the interest of seasoned sound sculptors while being easy enough for newcomers.
The Nano POG, now in its most compact form, still handles like a champ, with flawless tracking and some of the most realistic octaves you’ll get from a pedal-based pitch-shifter. There’s still some delay (try palm-muting to see what we mean), but adding dirt results in meaty riffs, monster chords, and realistic bass impersonations.
