Our Verdict

A durable, low-cost 2-channel audio and MIDI interface that prioritizes audio integrity and builds durability. The unit is rather small, and the arrangement is self-explanatory. We particularly like the rubberized gain knobs because they are simple to grasp despite the knobs’ modest size. The headphone output is likewise pleasant and audible. The unit includes rubber pads on the bottom, which, along with its weight, makes it quite stable when connecting in leads or modifying settings. If you’re new to recording, there’s also a copy of Tracktion T7 included with the DAW essentials plugin set, so you won’t need another DAW to get started.
