The FX100 from Flamma is the latest entry into the multi-effects ring from the new startup Flamma. For those looking for the latest entry-level multi-effects, take a closer look at the FX100.
On the amps and effects front, 55 high-quality amp models are included as are 26 IR-based factory speaker cab models designed to emulate the sound and feel of a real tube amplifier. The user-favorite support for third-party impulse response files has now been upgraded to support files of up to 512 sampling points each, allowing for more options in the quest for the perfect tone.
The FX100 also includes standard multi-effects features such as a built-in tuner, 10 metronome and 40 drum machine options, an 80-second capacity looper, auxiliary audio input, and a programmable footswitch. A variety of presets is also preloaded so for those that don’t want to waste any time setting things up right out of the box.

Our Verdict
For the price, this item is extremely remarkable. It contains a lot of FX, amp, and cabinet simulations, and multiple ins and outs for a variety of hook-up possibilities. You can change all of the patches on the pedal itself, but the editing software is what really sets this device apart. Connect through USB, and you can easily dial in whatever sound you choose, with simple editing and saving. You can connect to your audio interface as well as your USB connection while recording to allow for quick editing.
The default patches aren’t all that fantastic, but they’re so simple to change with the app that it doesn’t really matter. Overall, the FX100 is well-made with a lot of metal and appears to be constructed to endure a long time. The screen is bright and simple to read, and the built-in looper is a lovely addition! This is a great Swiss Army Knife for recording guitar, and I highly suggest it!
